Being new to the process, I was a little skeptical over the concept of valuable exercise in basically one spot. What I discovered was a range of motions and body movement combinations that challenged me in a purposeful way. In addition, the emphasis on proper breathing and balance lead to a lessening of my stress level during the exercise. Thus, in the midst of a busy or hectic day it is a convenient and efficient way to take a break to release tension and energize one's self in a healthy way.

Qi-Acise was just right for my exercise needs. It worked and toned the muscle groups with undue stress on my joints, while still increasing my heart rate. I really enjoyed this new approach to exercising.

I have always tried to keep physically active: running, dance, step aerobics, walking. As I have gotten older and developed arthritis, I have had to give up or modify these activities and add others, like yoga and tai chi I enjoy the stretching, coordination of movement and breath, and meditation of tai chi and yoga, but I still want some aerobic exercise. So Qi-Acise is perfect! It has all of the aspects of yoga and tai chi that I like, plus aerobics without undue stress on my arthritic knees and hip.

I find that after a year in this workout program that my range of motion has improved greatly. Also, my balance is much better. Equally important is that my posture and lung capacity are better.
